My Approach
Everyone has a camera. Not everyone is a photographer.
These days it seems like everyone needs a headshot. Whether you are a working actor, an aspiring theatre major, or a business professional, your “profile pic” is everywhere. And whether you realize it or not, that picture says a lot about you. Often it’s your first impression, and can honestly be the difference between getting a shot at that role, that gig, that job, that date (!), or…not. So how much does it matter to you? How bad do you want it? Do you want to look like everyone else? Or do you want to stand out, while still looking like you, telling your story?
I know you have a lot of options…so why me?
Well, I am a bit of a perfectionist. I’m meticulous with my work, and I don’t want to be like the other guy you found online. If you want to shoot with me then I’m genuinely honored. I’m invested in you. I’m all in.
But perhaps more importantly, I know what makes a great headshot. Your clothes, your look, the location, the light, all play a role. I strive to make our session one where you feel free to relax, express yourself, laugh a lot, offer your own opinions, and together, we are working to get that shot. The one that wins.
Lastly, I’m not interested in rushing you. We’re not doing a mini-session. Your headshot is your logo...your calling card. I like to take as much time as necessary to make sure your portrait not only conveys your individuality but will also stand out in a sea of other thumbnails and 8 x 10’s.
Let’s get it!
Patrick
